Parliamentary elections: 2.564.195 voters registered as of April 1

The Police of the Republic of Armenia has released the total number of voters registered in the Register of Electors one day ahead of the parliamentary elections, Panorama.am reports.

According to the report of the RA Police, in the manner prescribed by Part 7 of Article 8 of the RA Electoral Code, during the RA National Assembly Elections, the body in charge publishes the total number of voters included in the Register of Electors of the Republic of Armenia one day ahead of the elections specifying the total number of the electors included in the additional voting list, voters with no registration, the police officers to be on duty in polling stations, as well as the total number of voters undergoing treatment at medical centres.

Thus, one day prior to the elections, the Register of Electors of the Republic of Armenia features a total of 2.564.195 voters, out of whom 28.277 are the electors and members of district electoral commissions upon their location. 915 voters have no registration and 197 police officers are set to be on duty in polling stations.

According to the police data, 2001 voters are currently undergoing treatment at medical centres.
