Mottaki to discuss nuclear program with IAEA chief in Vienna
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaIranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki has arrived in Vienna in the morning of April 25 to meet IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano and Deputy Director General and Head of IAEA Safeguards Department Olli Heinonen, as well as his Austrian counterpart Michael Spindelegger. According to Radio Liberty, Mottaki is also expected to meet with members of the UN Security Council.
In an interview given upon arrival in Vienna, Mottaki gave an optimistic forecast of the meetings. “Given the current circumstances, the role of the UN nuclear agency and its director can be even more positive and efficient in finding a solution to the deadlock over Iran's uranium enrichment” – Mottaki said.
