Kazakh Ambassador becomes head of WTO Trade Committee

Zhanar Aitzhanova, Kazakhstan's Ambassador to Switzerland, permanent representative of the republic at the UN Office in Geneva, became the head of the World Trade Organization (WTO) Committee on Trade and Environment, the Kazakh Foreign Ministry's press service reported.

The Ministry added that Aitzhanova was nominated by the Asian group of developing countries, which Kazakhstan joined in November of last year.
