37 major projects to be realized in NCFD

Investors will be realizing 37 major projects worth 400 billion rubles
in the North Caucasian Federal District in 2011, Russian authorized
presidential envoy to the district Alexander Khloponin told Izvestia.

Khloponin noted that the authorities did not have enormous plans for
2010. The strategy will be undergoing a transition period in
2011-2012.

He said that they taken enough decisions and actions to implement the
strategy, including the establishment of special economic zones for
tourism in the Caucasus, developing corporations with a charter
capital of 500 million rubles, state guarantees worth 50 billion
rubles annually and other measures.

He noted that the official unemployment level dropped by 88,000 people.
