Georgian and Azerbaijani foreign ministers discuss economic issues

Georgian Minister of Foreign Affairs Grigol Vashadze is on a visit to Azerbaijan where he met his Azerbaijani counterpart Elmar Mammadyarov, Trend reports.

The sides discussed economic and energy projects, Vashadze said after the meeting. They talked on Nabucco, gas transport from Azerbaijan to Romania and other European states. They also discussed joint actions of Georgian and Azerbaijani delegations in international organizations. Security and stability of the North Caucasus were also touched upon.

Mammadyarov noted that the plan of economic cooperation concerns the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway, which will be launched in 2013.
