Ex-chief of financial supervision appointed chief adviser of Armenian Defense Minister

Sona Gharibyan was appointed the chief adviser to the Armenian Defense Minister Vigen Sargsyan, the press service of the country's defense ministry said.

Sona Gharibyan was born on August 13, 1969 in Yerevan. She graduated from the State Engineering University of Armenia with a degree in electrical engineering. In 2008-2014, she served the head of Financial Supervision in the Armenian Ministry of Finance. She is a member of the Board of the Control Chamber since February 2015, ARKA reported.
