Terek Grozny want Champions League success with Gullit

The head of Chechnya and the Terek Grozny football eam Ramzan Kadyrov said new coach Ruud Gullit is capable of bringing Champions League victory to the republic.


"We were looking for a good coach and chose him (Gullit). He is not only the best football player of his time, but also a respected professional and a good person. He is a workaholic. We need all these qualities for our coach," Kadyrov stated.

"Football develops in Russia. We are waiting for the World Cup 2018. We decided that our choice will be beneficial for football promotion in our country. Before we signed the contract, we had discussed with Gullit the problem of getting into Europa League zone."

"Our aim is not only play football, but do it beautifully. That's why we set such ambitious tasks," Kadyrov said.
