Alexandra Soldatova and Italian team awarded AGF Trophy at FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in Baku
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaTraditionally, after the ceremony of awarding the winners in rhythmic all-around, a special prize of the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation, AGF Trophy, was awarded to the participants of the FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup held in Baku.
The Russian gymnast Alexandra Soldatova received the AGF Trophy among the gymnasts in individual program. She took the 2nd place in rhythmic all-round event.
The Italian team, which became the 2nd in rhythmic all-round, was also awarded the AGF Trophy.
The AGF Trophies were given to the sportsmen by the Vice President of the European Union of Gymnastics, Secretary General of the Federation of Gymnastics of Azerbaijan, Farid Gaibov, a correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza reports.
The FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup is held in Baku on Apr 28-30. 94 gymnasts from 21 countries will participate in it. 37 sportsmen will perform in the individual program, and 57 gymnasts within 10 teams will take part in group exercises. Athletes will compete for 8 medal sets.
