Georgia to boost grain crops
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaSeeds of the corn of "Pironer" company have been taken to Georgia. They will be available for farmers, Business Georgia reports.
The ministry of agriculture states that this import is a part of the project on the intensifying of grain crops in the country. These seeds are resistant to heat and give good harvest.
The ministry wants implement the programme in the near future. The minister of agriculture of Georgia, Bakur Kvezereli, told farmers that the ministry expects to sow 300 000 hectares with this corn.
The programme presupposes that farmers pay back the cost of the corn after they gather the harvest and make a profit.
