Uzbek President to visit China

Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a state visit to China on May 11-13 at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping.

The talks with the Chinese leadership will address bilateral relations aimed at strengthening of a long-term partnership between the two countries and the important regional and international issues, the press service of the Uzbek President said.

The program of the visit also envisages a meeting with representatives of the leading Chinese companies and firms, where a joint projects with modern technologies will be discussed.

The state visit of the Uzbek President is expected to result in signing of a number of cooperation documents, AKIpress reported.

Mirziyoyev will also attend the international forum 'One Belt, One Road', which will be held in Beijing on May 14-15.
