Nurinisso Usmanova: Islamic Solidarity Games organized perfectly in Baku

Azerbaijan has created excellent conditions for athletes participating in the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku, the Uzbek gymnast Nurinisso Usmanova said, speaking with the correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza.

"It's my first time in Baku, and I like everything very much. I want to see the city as soon as possible. The gym and in the Olympic village are great as well," she noted.

Nurinisso Usmanova admitted that she feels great responsibility at the Islamic Solidarity Games, after stepping onto the platform. "After all, it's not just personal competitions, but the team competitions, so it's important for me not to let my own people down," the Uzbek gymnast.

According to her, the national team of Azerbaijan, represented by Marina Durunda, Zhala Piriyeva and Zohra Aghamirova are the main competitor for the national team of Uzbekistan.

The 4th Islamic Solidarity Games started May 8 and will last until May 22 in Baku on 16 sports grounds in 20 sports – 17 Olympic ones and three non-Olympic ones.
