Race of Heroes kicks off in Chechnya

The military-patriotic event ‘Race of Heroes -New Wave’ started at the international training center of special forces in Chechnya. More than 2 thousand people from all corners of Russia will participate in it, the headquarters of the event reports.

The games were opened by the head of the republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, the deputy defense minister of Russia, Timur Ivanov, and the head of the ‘Race of Heroes’ project, Xenia Shoigu.

"I'm sure that the patriots of Russia, real men and brave girls have gathered here, only such heroes will be able to enter the track of Race of Heroes. The route for the race with a firing arms is the most difficult in the history of the project. There is no analogue to the games in the world,’’ Ramzan Kadyrov said at the opening ceremony.
