4th Islamic Solidarity Games. Rhythmic gymnastics finals

Today, the competitions in rhythmic gymnastics of the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games were completed in Baku. On the last day of the competition, the individual finals were held in the exercises with a hoop, ball, clubs and with a ribbon. As on the previous day, the Azerbaijani gymnasts were leaders: Marina Durunda became a champion in the exercises with a hoop and ribbon, Jala Pirieva in the exercises with a ball. Given the gold medal for team all-around, Azerbaijan took four gold medals out of five possible in the first in the history of Islamic games competitions in rhythmic gymnastics. Rhythmic gymnastics competitions were included in the program of the Islamic Solidarity Games for the first time on the initiative of the First Vice President of Azerbaijan and President of the Federation of Gymnastics of Azerbaijan, Mehriban Aliyeva.
