Eleventh day of 4th Islamic Solidarity Games kicks off in Baku: wushu

The eleventh day of the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games has kicked off in Baku. Today, the athletes will compete for 11 medal sets: wushu, tennis and table tennis competitions will be held.

The women’s and men’s table tennis competitions will start at 09:00am. 

The winners in the women’s and men’s tennis singles competitions will also be determined today.

Wushu competitions will continue today at 10:00am (48 kg, 52 kg, 56 kg, 60 kg 65 kg, 70 kg and 75 kg). Azerbaijan will be represented by three athletes in finals of wushu competitions.

The solemn ceremony of closing the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku will be held this evening.

The 4th Islamic Solidarity Games are held in Baku from May 8 to 22. Athletes will compete at 16 sports facilities in 20 types of sports - 17 Olympic and three non-Olympic ones.
