Iranian police release detained RT Arabic journalists

RT television said Wednesday that Tehran police released the journalists of RT Arabic detained earlier in the day during the filming near the parliament building, Sputnik reports.

RT Arabic said via Twitter earlier on Wednesday that Iranian police detained its reporter and cameraman while filming in the vicinity of the parliament building in central Tehran in the aftermath of deadly attacks there.

"After the necessary checks and identification of personalities, the journalists continued their work without any obstacles," RT press service said in a statement.
