"Alania" fail to return to Premier League

According to "Soviet Sport", the basis of forming the Premier League of the 2011/12 season will be the sporting principle.

Alania (Vladikavkaz) left the top division according to the results of last season. So it won't get in the Premier League this season. The Russian Football Union stated that the membership of the league should be formed according to the sporting principle. "Saturn", which officially rejected its participations, will be replaced by "Krasnodar". In this case if "Amkar" doesn't participate in the 2011/12 season, 14 teams will play.

The authorities of the Russian Premier League have discussed the ability of reducing number of teams to 14 many times.
