Armenia and Iran sign new memorandum of understanding

A memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Economic Development and Investments of Armenia and the Institute of Standards & Industrial Research of Iran (ISIRI) was signed in Tehran today. 

The document was signed by Armenia's Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Investments Emil Tarasyan and ISIRI Vice President M. Moghaddam, the ministry said.

The memorandum envisions development and expansion of cooperation between the two agencies, especially in halal food, News.am reported.

Tarasyan also visited the Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council, where discussed matters of mutual interest.
