Russian Accounts Chamber to check funding for counter-terrorist actions

The Russian Accounts Chamber is starting an inspection of the
efficiency of spending budget funds on counter-terrorist measures,
chamber head Sergey Stepashin said.

He emphasized that the inspection will be held in the first half of
2011. It will also involve monitoring of funds spent on security in
airports and railway stations, Interfax reports.

The schedule of measures will be determined this Friday.

Stepashin noted that even classified expenses will be checked.
