Pace President Movlud Chavushoglu held a news conference at the start
of the organization's spring session on Monday, APA reports.

Answering a question about his visit to Azerbaijan he said

that the political atmosphere on the eve of parliamentary elections
was positive.

"At the meetings we held in Azerbaijan we discussed
the issues of conducting democratic, fair and free elections. We
want it very much. At our meetings we witnessed the genuine will of the
Azerbaijani government to organize more democratic and transparent

elections. Members of government promised to do all their best to

provide such a form of elections," he said.

On the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict he said that he
would discuss the issue at his meeting with delegations from
Azerbaijan and Armenia.

"When the subcommittee is organized, I will head it myself as

the president of PACE," he said.
