Turkey's Calik Enerji to build two wind power plants in Georgia
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThe Turkish energy company Calik Enerji plans to build two wind power plants in Georgia with a total capacity of 170 MW, the feasibility study for their construction is being completed, the director of the Qartli Wind Farm Tornike Kazarashvili said.
"The feasibility study will be completed this month, then the conditions will be negotiated with the government, and only then the construction will be started," Business Georgia cited Kazarashvili as saying.
It is planned that the capacity of the power plant, which will be built 15 km from Gori in Nigozi, will be 50 MW. A more powerful one - 120 MW - will be built in Sachkhere (Imeretia).
