Putin congratulates Turkmen President on his birthday

Russian President Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation with his Turkmen counterpart Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov to congratulate him on his 60th birthday, the Kremlin press service said,

The Presidents discussed key issues in the development of bilateral relations in the political, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres, as well as issues related to the strengthening of security and stability in Central Asia and the Caspian region.

In addition, they touched on the schedule of contacts at the highest level, the Kremlin's press service added.
