Putin amends martial law

Today, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a federal constitutional law on amending the law ‘On Martial Law’, the official internet-portal of legal information reports.

The law is supplemented by the Article 101 on the conduct of the territorial defense.

The document states that territorial defense is conducted on the territory of the Russian Federation or in its separate areas, where the martial law has been introduced, in accordance with the federal laws and other normative legal acts of the Russian Federation, taking into account the measures applied during the period of martial law.
