Barkindo: global oil inventories drop by 100 million barrels

Global oil inventories dropped by 100 million barrels in the first six months, OPEC Secretary General Mohammed Barkindo said, speaking at the World Petroleum Congress in Istanbul.

At the same time, the Secretary General did not name the current volume of global oil inventories.
