Turkey to form special commission on historical heritage

A special commission on historical heritage will be formed in Turkey. It will include deputies from the ruling Justice and Development (AK) Party, the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) and the People's Republican Party (CHP).

The commission will be able to address other countries on issues related to the return of historical artifacts that make up Turkey's heritage.

According to the Turkish media, within three months its members will have to submit a list of all artifacts exported outside Turkey during the First and Second World Wars.
