Georgian citizens on favored ruling party and candidates in elections
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThe polls released by the National Democratic Institute (NDI) and CRRC Georgia says that Georgian Dream ruling party and its candidates have more supporters among the decided voters.
23% of the surveyed people select the Georgian Dream party, 9% - the United National Movement party, 4% for both Bakradze, Ugulava - European Georgia and the Alliance of Patriots and 3% for Labor Party,” NDI reported.
When asked for which party would they vote if elections were tomorrow, the numbers do not significantly change: 22% - Georgian Dream, 7% - UNM, and 3% - European Georgia,” the polls reported, adding that 40% are undecided.
The survey reads that for the Tbilisi mayoral race, 30% support Georgian Dream candidate Kakha Kaladze, 19% independent candidate Aleko Elisashvili, 18% UNM’s Zaal Udumashvili, 5% EG’s Helene Khostaria, and 12% are undecided.
The results reflect data collected from June 18 to July 9. The average margin of error is +/- 2,2 percent.
