President of Azerbaijan meets with heads of BP and TOTAL

The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has met in Davos with the
Chairman of the Board of Directors and the executive director of BP,
Carl-Henric Svanberg, Azertag reports.

At the meeting it was pointed out that Azerbaijan and BP have been
actively collaborating since 1994.

During the meeting both parties stressed that cooperation between
Azerbaijan and BP is strategic in nature, and expressed their hopes
for further strengthening of their cooperation in future.

Ilham Aliyev also met with the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of
TOTAL. Christophe de Margerie. in Davos today.

At the meeting the sides exchanged views on the activities of TOTAL in
Azerbaijan and the development of the Shah Deniz and Absheron gas
fields by this company.
