Russian Foreign Ministry confirms Lavrov-Tillerson meeting

Russia's Foreign Ministry is preparing a meeting between Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said.

"We confirm that information announced by the US side yesterday: we are preparing the meeting between Sergey Lavrov and Rex Tillerson in Manila, a specific time and some other organizational aspects still remain to be agreed upon," RIA Novosti cited him as saying.

Lavrov and Tillerson will meet on the margins of next weekend's meetings of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations in Manila.
