Medvedev signs START deal

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said on Friday that he had signed
the ratification document on the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty
(START), RIA Novosti reports.

The president called it a significant event for the country, taking
into account the agreements between Russia and the USA.
