First business ombudsman appointed in Georgia

Prime Minister of Georgia Nika Gilauri has approved Giorgi Perth for
the post of business ombudsman, Trend reports. .

The prime minister stated that the main task of the ombudsman is to
work together with the public and private sectors.

Under the new Tax Code, which came into force on January 1, Georgia
introduced the post of business ombudsman.

Perth stressed that he will protect the rights of businessmen.
