Turkish company to build road bypassing Batumi

Deputy head of Road Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Alexander Tevdoradze, signed an agreement with representative of Turkish company POLAT YOL & MAPA on the construction of a 13-kilometer section of the road bypassing Batumi.

The current road passes through tourist and residential areas, which creates problems for international transit transport.
