Armenian Transport Ministry evacuated due to false report

Armenian police have evacuated the employees of the Armenian ministry of transport, communications and information technology in downtown Republican Square after receiving a telephone call claiming that a bomb was planted inside, but the report turned out to be false.

According to the press service of the police, the phone call was received at 10:25. Currently, police officers are examining the building, ARKA reported.


"The whole building has been searched and nothing suspicious has been found, employees have returned to their workplaces," the senior official of the emergency situations ministry, Colonel Armen Badalyan, said.
