Peskov says what Kremlin thinks about female president in Russia
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThe Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said commented reports about pitting a female candidate in next year’s presidential elections in Russia.
According to Peskov, the Kremlin "had not considered" a woman to participate in next year's elections.
Earlier, the Vedomosti newspaper, cited presidential administration sources, said that five to seven candidates have reportedly been found suitable for the job, including journalist Ksenia Sobchak, but she was not enthusiastic about it.
