Akhtem Chiygoz convicted in Crimea

Today, the Supreme Court of the Republic of Crimea convicted the deputy chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people (banned in Russia), Akhtem Chyigoz,for organizing unrest near the  Crimean parliament in February 2014 and sentenced him to eight years in prison.

Recall, Chiygoz was detained in January 2015, the prosecution demanded eight years imprisonment, TASS reports.
