Russian Economy Minister Maxim Oreshkin said that he expected the ruble to be steady in 2018-2020 despite Western sanctions and an expected decline in oil prices, RIA Novosti reported.

The rouble firmed 6% so far this year to 57.73 against the dollar after falling sharply in 2014-2016.
