Merkel: there is threat of new attacks in Germany

German Chancellor Angela Merkel told journalists that terrorism continues to pose a threat to Germany.

"Terrorism is a constant threat, we are doing everything to combat it," she said.

A resident of Syria has been arrested in the German capital on suspicion of membership in a terrorist group, Gazeta.ru reports.
