Istanbul airport resumes its work

Istanbul’s International Ataturk Airport has resumed operating in its normal mode after a private jet crashed on the runway, causing authorities to suspend flights, the country's Transport Ministry said.

Four people have been injured after a plane crashed at the airport - the jet's two pilots, a cabin crew member and a passenger.

The jet, registered as TC-KON, crashed after reporting a malfunction as it was taking off/ The flight was heading to the Ercan airport in northern Cyprus,  the state-run news agency Anadolu said.
