Konya to host festival dedicated to 800th anniversary of Rumi

Turkish province of Konya will host a major festival dedicated to the 800th anniversary of Sufi poet Jalal ad-Din Muhammad Rumi on September 22-30.

It will be attended by performers from Azerbaijan, Iran, Tunisia, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina,Turkey's Ministry of Culture and Tourism said.
