Gref: Turkey to start accept 'Mir' cards in 2018

Sberbank CEO and Chairman of the Board German Gref expects that Russia's "Mir" payment cards will be accepted in Turkish payment terminals in 2018.

"I hope that next year we will be able to accept Mir cards in all our terminals in Turkey,"  he said during a broadcast on the Rossiya 24 TV channel.television channel.

Gref also noted that the process of accreditation of DenizBank, Sberbank's subsidiary in Turkey, in the National System of Payment Cards (the operator of the "Mir" payment system) is already underway.
