US occupies Syria, Walid Muallem says

The presence of international forces led by  the United States in Syria is an occupation, Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Muallem said today, speaking at a general political discussion of the UN General Assembly.

According to him, the coalition did not achieve any significant progress in the fight against ISIS (banned in Russia). However, the Syrian army and its allies have succeeded. A significant part of the Syrian desert is liberated from terrorists.
