PKK hideouts, arsenals in northern Iraq destroyed by Turkish jets

Turkish jets have destroyed weapon depots and hideouts used by PKK terrorists in northern Iraq, the military said in a statement on Sunday, Daily Sabah reports.

According to the statement issued by Turkish General Staff, the warplanes carried out an airstrike in the Gara region Saturday and destroyed arms and ammunition depots used by terrorists.

The statement said that the air raids were part of ongoing operations targeting the terrorist organization in northern Iraq.
