Mammad Bagir Aliyev elected to RAS presidium

The well-known scientist, oncologist, professor, doctor of medical sciences Mammad Bagir Aliyev, who is a full member and academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, was elected to the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences during the recent election of the leadership of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

1200 people supported his candidacy and 70 voted against.

Alexander Sergeyev was elected new president of the Russian Academy of Sciences today.
