Youth of North Caucasus to receive professional guidance

State program on employment promotion in the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District, implementation of which will begin in 2018, will pay special attention to youth, director of the Employment Department of Russia's Labor and Social Protection Ministry, Mikhail Kirsanov, said at a press conference, answering the question of Vestnik Kavkaza correspondent.

"All-Russian Professional Guidance-2017" action is held from from October 1 to 14 of this year in all regions of Russia. In 2016, more than 70 thousand children from 68 Russian regions participated in it. Tens of thousands of schoolchildren will be able to learn about their professional preferences, as well as about future prospective professions.

Kirsanov stressed that a number of regions of the NCFD have a successful experience of carrying out activities aimed at promoting employment of citizens. "Stavropol Territory has a very interesting experience of job fairs. There's a youth employment center called 'Success' in Makhachkala. So we work with regions of the North Caucasus very closely, so we know situation there. It is not easy, but we will work on it," he said.

Natalia Alieva, head of the program for development of early career guidance system "Zasoboy", Natalia Alieva, drew attention to the fact that regions of the North Caucasus were very active in the issue of registration for participation in this event. At the same time, she expressed hope that these results will help young people to make right decision on their career in the future.

"Regions of the North Caucasus Federal District are pretty active. It shows that executive authorities, schools and parents are interested in using our platform to develop professional guidance system," she said.
