Crime rate in North Caucasus Federal District decreases

Chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin noted positive dynamics in reduction of total number of crimes in the North Caucasus Federal District.

According to him, the number of murders in the region decreased by 21.3%, rape crimes - by 44%. Bastrykin also noted effectiveness of measures taken to combat extremism.
