Floods in two Iranian provinces

Flooding has occurred in the Kerman and Fars Provinces of Iran, caused
by heavy rains, MEHR reports.


Three people died and two are missing in Fars, three died in Kerman.


IRNA reported that 14 cities and towns, 116 villages were submerged,
official of the Red Crescent Movement in Kerman Province, Kavus
Mahmudi, said.


He said that food, blankets and tents were provided.


Iribnews.ir says that 1300 houses were destroyed and 2000 damaged in Rigan.
