Law on early presidential elections adopted in Kazakhstan

regulating the early presidential elections in Kazakhstan, RIA Novosti
reports, citing the press service of the head of state.
According to the new law, extraordinary presidential elections will be
held on the decision of the President and within two months after they
are called. Extraordinary elections are held in the same manner as
ordinary, the timing of the election events are determined by the CEC.
As reported earlier by VK, Nazarbayev decided to hold early
presidential elections on Monday after the recognition by the
Constitutional Council of the Law "On introducing amendments and
addenda to the Constitution," providing for a referendum on the
extension of presidential term of Nazarbayev until 2020.
