23 Georgian teachers dismissed for violence against children since 2016

In Georgia, 23 teachers were dismissed for violence against children from January 2016 to October 2017, the Ministry of Education reports.

In 2016, 14 teachers were dismissed for this reason, and from January 2017 - another 9. Four cases occurred at the beginning of the new school year.  4,4 thousand facts of violence and ridicule over pupils were reveled in total for this period. The department stresses the immediate reaction to all cases of this kind.
