Kadyrov: 40 militants detained in Chechnya
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaRussia's special services detained several dozen militants and their accomplices in Chechnya in the first nine months of this year, the head of the region Ramzan Kadyrov said at the board of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to him, the total number of solved crimes increased by 19%. Thus, more than 40 members of illegal armed groups and 25 accomplices were detained for nine months.
The head of the region also drew attention to the decline in the number of crimes committed in public places. "This number (10%) has become the best in the country," Caucasus Today cited Kadyrov as saying.
