German development bank offers €1.65m to Georgia

The German government-owned development bank (KfW) is offering grant worth €1,650,000 to improve tourism and utility infrastructure in two regions of Georgia, Agenda.ge reported.

The grant agreement has already been signed and soon the utility infrastructure rehabilitation concept will be created.

Also, the grant agreement includes review of the current situation for urban development, and assessment of social and environmental impacts of planned investment measures.

The KfW financed project is due to be implemented in Georgia’s Mtskheta-Mtianeti and Imereti regions.
