Azerbaijani Foreign Minister meets US Secretary of State

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in Munich, Trend cites the country's Foreign Ministry.

At the meeting the parties discussed the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Mammadyarov announced the official position of Azerbaijan. In her turn, Clinton noticed that it was time to make progress in the conflict.

The parties also exchanged views on bilateral relations, the current situation in the region and energy issues, as well as processes in the Middle East.
