Ukrainian vessel sinks at Georgia's Poti port

A Ukrainian vessel -  "the Grigory Petrovsky" - sunk at the Georgian
port of Poti during a storm, Trend cites border police as saying.


The 11 crew members, including a woman, were rescued. The crew
consisted of 7 Ukrainians, 3 Azerbaijani and 1 Russian, ITAR-TASS
reports.


The border police and the port's control services took part in the
rescue operation.


The dry-cargo vessel lost control in the storm and stroke the ground,
breaking into half.


The crew was informed about the coming storm, but did not react in time.
